Rinse and hull 1 1/2 cups of strawberries; halve large berries.
Peel the banana and slice it if using for extra creaminess.
Add strawberries to the blender first to help the blades catch.
Spoon in 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt.
Pour 1/2 cup milk or plant milk over the yogurt.
Add 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract if desired.
Sprinkle a small pinch of salt to brighten the flavors.
Add 4-6 ice cubes when using fresh berries (skip if berries are frozen).
Secure the blender lid and blend on high until smooth and frothy, about 30–45 seconds.
Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness; add a splash of milk if too thick or a few ice cubes if too thin.
