Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries about 200 g
  • 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt 120 g
  • 1/2 cup milk or plant milk 120 ml
  • 1 ripe banana optional
  • 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup to taste
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract optional
  • 4-6 ice cubes if using fresh strawberries
  • Pinch of salt optional

Instructions

  • Rinse and hull 1 1/2 cups of strawberries; halve large berries.
  • Peel the banana and slice it if using for extra creaminess.
  • Add strawberries to the blender first to help the blades catch.
  • Spoon in 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt.
  • Pour 1/2 cup milk or plant milk over the yogurt.
  • Add 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract if desired.
  • Sprinkle a small pinch of salt to brighten the flavors.
  • Add 4-6 ice cubes when using fresh berries (skip if berries are frozen).
  • Secure the blender lid and blend on high until smooth and frothy, about 30–45 seconds.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness; add a splash of milk if too thick or a few ice cubes if too thin.
