Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar or distilled vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce or a few drops hot sauce

Instructions

  • Measure 1/2 cup mayonnaise into a medium bowl.
  • Add 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish and 1 tablespoon ketchup.
  • Stir in 1 tablespoon yellow mustard for tang.
  • Add 1 tablespoon white wine or distilled vinegar to brighten the flavor.
  • Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon onion powder and 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
  • Add 1 teaspoon paprika and 1 teaspoon sugar to balance sweetness.
  • Season with a pinch of salt and a few grinds of black pepper.
  • Optional: mix in 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce for added depth.
  • Whisk vigorously until the mixture is smooth and uniformly colored.
  • Taste and adjust: more relish for texture, more sugar for sweetness, or extra vinegar for acidity.
  • Cover and refrigerate at least 10 minutes to let flavors meld. Stir again before serving.
